I purchased my ioSafe directly from the ioSafe website. How do I activate my DRS?
If you purchased your ioSafe directly from us, all you need to do is go through the activation process on our website. We have all your purchasing information already and can determine the level of your DRS coverage.
I purchased from a third party reseller (like Amazon, Dell or a Value Added Reseller — VAR). I don't have or I can't find my DRS upgrade with an activation code. Do I need one?
If you purchased an original Solo with an upgraded 3 or 5 year DRS, from a third party (Amazon, Newegg or one of our Value Added Resellers [VAR]), you should have received a separate DRS Activation Code in either an envelope or small box. Please write us at customerservice@iosafe.com if you can't locate this and we'd be happy to help.
For the original Solo products with 3 or 5 year DRS upgrades, when purchased from an internet site like Amazon or Dell.com, you should have receive a standard legal sized envelope (9.5" x 4") or small box that contains both your DRS upgrade serial number and activation code. If you did not receive this information, please look carefully in your original shipping packaging and/or contact your reseller. If you can't resolve it, email us at customerservice@iosafe.com and we'll get it straight for you.
If you purchased a SoloPRO or ioSafe Rugged Portable, there is typically no separate box or envelope with an activation code as these newer products come pre-configured from the factory with the proper DRS coverage and activation code included in the box. You can upgrade further to a 3 or 5 year DRS during our web activation process.
Regardless, with the proper receipt, we'll get your DRS coverage set correctly. If after going through the activation process it still doesn't seem right, email us at customerservice@iosafe.com and we'll get it straight for you.
Please email customerservice@iosafe.com if you have any other questions.
