With two RAID 1 mirrored disk drives, up to 2 terabytes (TB) of raw storage capacity and the new feature of user-recoverable data after disaster, the ioSafe S2 offers business continuity and peace of mind for small businesses and remote offices. The ioSafe S2 is designed to be fire resistant to 1700°F for one hour and flood resistant in salt water to a depth of 30 feet for 30 days. Available only with ioSafe products, FloSafe technology provides cooling airflow that all electronics require for reliability, while simultaneously delivering fire and flood protection for disasters. Along with RAID 1 disks, the major upgrade to the S2 product in the S-series line is the removable electronic core. The S2 core is a completely operational system designed to allow users to perform self recovery of data.
